About the Bahá’í faith

The Bahá’í faith is a world religion which emphasises unity. Bahá’ís believe that all religion is from the same divine source and has the same essential message. For Bahá’ís, the messenger for this age is Bahá’u’lláh. Bahá’ís live all around the world and work to improve the lives of those around them.

O Son of Spirit! My first counsel is this: Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart, that thine may be a sovereignty ancient, imperishable and everlasting.

Bahá’u’lláh (The Hidden Words, Arabic no. 1)

Bahá’í social principles include equality of men and women, abolition of prejudice, harmony between science and religion, independent investigation of truth and an end to extremes of poverty and wealth.
